Living conditions of the soldiers in the trenches

     Linving conditions of the soldiers in the trenches were very difficult. The floor was covered by mud and it was slippery. There was a very bad smell in the trenches. Also the soldiers had to sleep in the slippery mud and they used to wear hats which covered their ears because it was very cold. At first the ate meat and vegetables but day to day the food was getting less and soldiers were hungry.
