THE WAY WOMEN CONTRIBUTED IN WW1
Women had a lot contribution in buses, in elevators,in agriculture, in war industry, nurses, munitions factory workers, sewing bandages, and selling war bonds, shipyards and spies. In this way women got the opportunity to prove themselves in a male-dominated society doing more than the usual.In Great Britain, between 1914 and 1918, an estimated two million women replaced men in employment.
