1)

We are comparing two different poems

The First: It has an appologetic tone, in which the writer is trying to show us the war was not worth it.

The Second: It has an inspiring and encouraging tone because he has the belief that the war should be continiued until the victory.

The main difference between these two poems is the fact that the first one  is talking about stopping the war and the second one is talking about continuing the wa. We can understand that from the poems' tones. The emotions we get by reading each of these two poems are different. In the first poem, the writer has melancholy and this can be highly understood from the poem's verses. To be more specific in the last three verses he shows his sadness about the war.

In the second poem, the emotions we get are: passion, anger and finally the fanaticism.
